Acquisition Specialist's (All Levels) Several Openings

Type: Full- Time

Location: Hanscom Air Force Base, Lexington, MA

JOB FUNCTION:

The Acquisition Specialist will provide project management support to a variety of programs including:  

                                                                                   
• Assist in coordinating the contractor’s IMP and IMPS.
• Assist in coordinating program risk reviews and briefings.
• Review contractor deliverable status together with milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports.
• Determine accuracy of information/situation depicted, and report inconsistencies.
• Assist in preparing briefings and reports in direct support of the acquisition program management function.
• Assist in preparing acquisition program documentation such as SOOs and Technical Requirements Documents (TRD).
• Review proposals and assess contractor's technical approaches, Basis of Estimates, and risks and mitigation plans; Identify proposal risks.
• Participate in acquisition strategy analysis and planning.
• Remain fully cognizant of current Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Air Force an ESC acquisition policies and directives concerning the conduct of Source Selections.
• Review or propose inputs to Requests for Proposal (RFP), including Statements of Objective (SOO), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Sections L (Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors) and M (Evaluation Factors for Award), and other source selection related documents such as Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP) and Commodity Acquisition Management Plans (CAMP).
• Develop and structure Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL).
• Formulate, generate, review, and finalize Source Selection Plans, develop revisions, improvements and way ahead.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 3, 6 10 plus years professionally related experience
  • 3 years DoD Acquisition experience specialized in the field of Acquisition and Management\Information Assurance
  • Knowledgeable in the latest DoD 5000 acquisition policies = PM APDP level II desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be familiar with DoD (preferably AF) acquisition policies and procedures

EDUCATION: BS/BA or equivalent years’ related experience

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Senior Management Operations Advisor Level II

Type: Full Time

 Location: Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA

JOB FUNCTION: 

To support the group training management program by establishing and maintaining proactive training management tools; primary responsibilities include direct oversight of Air Force annual ancillary training requirements,formal training requirements, and the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP); manages the University Program, an educational system created by and for the group community; develops, deploys and manages internal University programs to include identifying issues and providing recommendations for content and execution to senior Air Force management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years in a related experience. Must possess strong writing skills and ability to manage multiple on-going processes.  MS Office suite of tools experience required.  Livelink experience highly recommended.

Executive Acquisition Specialist

Type: Full time

JOB FUNCTION:

The Executive Acquisition Specialist will serve as the 853d ELSG JPALS Program Office liason to the Navy JPALS Program Office. Some key duties include: attend regularly scheduled meetings, provide status of the Air Force when required to the Navy and gather status of the other increments for the Air Force; assist in the tracking/facilitation and coordination of documentation leading up to program milestones; Provide recommendations and advice to the Air Force Program Manager on Navy expectations; provide support in the preparation of briefings and reports given to high-level managers within program and other agency components.

Sr. Management Operations Advisor Level III

 Type: Full Time

 Location: Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA

JOB FUNCTION: To support the wing-level organization with all necessary readiness functions, to include but not limited to Unit Deployment Manager, UCC Coordinator, Battle Staff Representative/Training Monitor, and other duties associated with the Wing's Readiness as described by the Wing/OM. Develops and modifies operating plans for deployment of assigned personnel. • Assigns personnel to unit deployment taskings and keeps senior leadership informed of all personnel AEF assignments as required. Ensures personnel are informed, prepared, and deployed within AF prescribed time limits. Attend base-level deployment meetings, provide required deployment briefings, establishing a schedule to implement the time phase force deployment list and coordinating schedules with the base Personnel Readiness Unit (PRU). Provides guidance/information on deployment location, special equipment, clothing, and recommended personal items to deploying individuals. Works closely with base Individual Deployment Officer (IDO), PRU, and appropriate base representatives to resolve problem areas in planning and executing deployments.
• Maintains the Deployment Resource Roster in accordance with appropriate directives. Prepares and maintains personnel readiness folders for all deployment personnel. Conducts periodic review of personnel readiness folders, identifies discrepancies, takes necessary actions to correct no less than semi-annually on 100% personnel readiness folders (PRFs). Compiles data and updates related deployment databases i.e. LOGMOD, SORTS, ARTS, etc., prepares monthly all required AEF reports documenting readiness status and representing unit capabilities.

Cyber Integration Manager

 Type: Full- Time

JOB FUNCTION: 

Provide program management support to assist the 753 ELSG to establish, manage, and execute a rapid and agile acquisition process for delivering Cyber-related capabilities to the warfighter.  This will provide a central point of contact for the Commander/Director and all outside sources for efficient information collection and dissemination for on-going programs, developmental projects, and warfighter requirements in the Cyber domain which includes, but is not limited to, Computer Network Operations (Attack/Defense/Exploitation) and terrestrial communications networks. Tasks associated with this requirement include but are not limited to the tasks listed below:

Assist and support the government in:
• Conducting broad-based analysis of acquisition processes and programs to make recommendations for integration across the C4ISR enterprise and PEO C2&CS portfolio
• Coordinating the efforts of the acquisition workforce, including but not limited to AFRL/RI, 350 ELSW, 653 ELSW, 554 ELSW, to demonstrate the value of C4ISR integration in the Cyber domain
• Serving as a liaison to other rapid/agile acquisition organizations within the DoD, including but not limited to, ASC/RAB (Big Safari), AFSPC SIDC (AF TENCAP), the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (SAF/RCO), the Air Force Warfighter Rapid Acquisition Program, USSOCOM Center for Acquisition and Logistics (SOAL), and NSA's Trusted Access Program Office (TAPO), Commercial Solutions Center (NCSC), and Technology Transfer Program
• Consulting and implementing DoD and USAF acquisition policies, statutes and regulations.
• Assisting in planning, facilitating, and conducting Cyber-related senior management meetings and forums
• Documenting and tracking meeting action items and performing as recorder for executive meetings and conferences as needed
• Assisting Program Managers and Project Leads in maintaining current programmatic, personnel, policy, and guidance data for Cyber-related activities
• Providing expert advice to senior leadership on Cyber-related acquisition activities
• Formulating reports, documents and creating briefing slides for project- and executive-level meetings and reviews
• Guiding and assisting assigned Program Managers and Project Leads on DoD, USAF, and AFMC Cyber Roadmaps
• Maintaining the Cyber Integration Management office file plan and accountability for active and inactive records

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Strong defense and attack systems background

EDUCATION: BS/BA Degree or equivalent related experience required
