Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

Program Description: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for the safety of civil aviation.
Program Support: Quantech's consultants support the following FAA organizations:
Air Traffic Organization-Finance (ATO-F) - Quantech develops and validates cost estimates related to the acquisition, operations, maintenance and disposal of FAA systems being acquired or replaced within the National Airspace System (NAS). Our estimates are presented directly to the Joint Resources Council (JRC) as part of the acquisition milestone decision process and are used to support the development and reconciliation of the NAS Plan Hand-off and F&E/Operations budgets and other similar cost estimate calls and requests. We also prepare ad hoc reports and conduct special cost analyses as required, and assist in the analysis of project data to facilitate making recommendations about O&M requirements including the development of strategic and performance planning documents. On an as-needed basis we provide general support to ATO-Finance in preparing Resource Planning Data (RPD) documents, developing business cases, participating in budget drills and supporting Reduction in Total Ownership Cost (RTOC) initiatives.

Air Traffic Organization-Terminal (ATO-T) - Quantech provides financial management (financial analysis, planning, reporting, execution, accounting and cost estimating/analysis) and project management support to automation, surveillance and weather programs. Quantech performs various financial/project management functions involving the formulation, justification and execution of budgets. Quantech also develops life cycle cost estimates, plans, programs and budgets necessary to assist the Terminal Services Office in accomplishing its mission.
