Quantech MilSatCom Team Wins GISLA Award for 2nd consecutive year!

Congratulations to the Military Satellite Communications (MilSatCom) Systems Certification & Accreditation Team at SMC for winning their 2nd Government Information Security Leadership Award (GISLA).  Quantech employees made up 10 of the 18-person MilSatCom Information Assurance team. They are Patrice Siravo, Gary Thompson, Tabitha Gosetti, Todd Vassar, Andrew Wilson, James Rhuby, Alan Holmes, Brenda Stephens, Michelle Jennings, and Clyde (Rick) Adams.  This year, the government/Quantech team competed in the category of Process/Policy Improvement. This category recognizes a team of senior-level U.S. federal government personnel whose contribution to the development/implementation of any information security policy or process has a significantly improved the security posture of the federal government. The GISLA is awarded annually by the (ISC)²®(“ISC-squared”) U.S. Government Advisory Board.  ISC2 is the world’s largest not-for-profit information security professional body and administrators of the CISSP®.
