The AFCEA Lexington-Concord chapter hosted its annual New Horizons Symposium, 1-2 March 2016, at the Marriott Newton Hotel, Newton, MA.  Honored keynote speaker, Lt General John Thompson, Commander, AFLCMC, opened with an address on “Providing the Warfighter’s Edge.” Mary Ann Carlson, Chapter President, then presented a $2,500 check to Lt Gen Thompson and 66th ABG Commander, Col David Dunklee, to support the Hanscom AFB Enlisted Education Fund.

Featured business opportunity briefings included presentations from Air Force Life Cycle Management (AFLCMC) Program Executive Officers, Steven Wert, Battle Management, and Maj General Craig Olson, C3I & Networks; Maj Gen Scott Rice, Adjutant General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Deputy Commanding General, Brig Gen Thomas Dodd, United States Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, and Senior Commander, Natick Soldier Systems; Dr. Eric Evans, Director, Lincoln Laboratory; Col Al LaPuma, PEO and Director of the NC3 Integration Directorate, Nuclear Weapons Center; Col Tim Pennington, Acting Director, Information Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory; Col Walt Connery and Maj Michael Reilly, National Guard Bureau; Dr. Eric Evans, Director, MIT Lincoln Laboratory; and Todd Richards, GSA-OASIS Program Manager and Mr. Kevan Kivlan, Director Customer Accounts and Research, GSA.

Mary Ann Carlson concluded with remarks on chapter accomplishments and a $500 donation to the Hanscom Troop Care Package drive.
